The Faith Formation program of St. Vincent Ferrer Parish strives to provide adults, youth, and children with the knowledge, experiences, and skills necessary to become faithful disciples of Jesus. In keeping with their age and ability, they will assume responsibility as vital members of the parish and be able to participate in the Parish’s mission to develop a community of worship and praise, and serve the Kingdom of God.

El programa de Formación de Fe de San Vicente Ferrer se esfuerza en proveer a adultos, jóvenes y niños el conocimiento, experiencias y enseñanzas para ser fieles discÃpulos de Jesús. En conjunto con su edad, habilidad, ellos asumirán responsabilidades como miembros vitales de la parroquia y deben poder participar en la misión parroquial para el desarrollo de la comunidad en alabanza y oración, y servir al reino de Dios.
FAITH FORMATION PROGRAM PROGRAMA DE FORMACIÓN DE FE
Formation in the Catholic tradition is a life-long process. For that reason St. Vincent Ferrer offers ongoing Faith Formation opportunities for all ages. We focus on lectionary-based catechesis, teaching the Sunday Mass readings and their meanings along with understanding the teachings of the Catholic faith from an age-appropriate point of view.

La formación en la tradición Católica es un proceso largo. Por esta razón la Iglesia de San Vicente Ferrer ofrece un programa de Formación de Fe constante para todas las edades. Nos enfocamos en la catequesis basada en el Leccionario, ensenando las lecturas Dominicales y sus significados a la vez con un entendimiento de nuestra fe en una forma apropiada a la edad y desde el punto de vista del niño. Ademas de esto, los jóvenes participan en sesiones dinámicas de construir de comunidad, de escrituras y desde el punto de vista Católico del mundo a nuestro alrededor.

SACRAMENTSÂ Â Â Â Â SACRAMENTOS
FAMILY SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION PREPARACIÓN SACRAMENTAL CON LA FAMILIA
Sacramental preparation is IN ADDITION TO AND SEPARATE from weekly Faith Formation sessions. Families participate together in these once-a-month sessions.
REQUIREMENTS
First Reconciliation -- minimum 7 years old
First Eucharist -- minimum 8 years old and completion
of the sacramental preparation for Reconciliation.

La preparación Sacramental es una adición y diferentes a las sesiones semanales de Formación de Fe. Las familias participan unidos en estas sesiones una vez al mes.

RCIA FOR ADULTS
Adult Confirmation—for adults 21 and older. For those practicing Catholics that have missed the sacrament of Confirmation we offer a sacramental class. Our sessions are close.
Confirmación de adultos: para adultos mayores de 21 años. Para aquellos que practican la fe católica que les falta el sacramento de la Confirmación, ofrecemos clase sacramental.
Those requesting baptism and initiation into the Catholic faith, meet to grow closer to God through scripture, traditions, and the share stories of Jesus' call to continual conversion.
